It’s all about the roots!
Although our vegetable garden doesn’t look very pretty at this time of year, it is still producing lots of delicious veggies that will be appearing on our menu throughout the winter months. Jerusalem artichokes, parsnips and beetroot are among our favourites. Our chickens don’t like the winter very much and their egg laying tends to go into decline, we are making sure they are all cosy in their houses keeping them well until the Spring when egg production will pick up again and we can start selling our delicious free range eggs over the bar.
